The municipality of Tarifa is located at the southernmost point of Western Europe, being the closest point to the African continent. It is worth noting that it has the largest stretch of coastline in the entire province, 37.8 km of sandy and shallow beaches. While inland, mountains and ranges predominate (Fates, de la Plata, Saladavieja, Ojén and Cabrito) between the valleys of the old Laguna de la Janda.
Tarifa is rich in natural spaces; so much so that a large part of its eastern half is included within the Alcornocales Natural Park. If you come to Tarifa, don't miss the opportunity to visit unique places in the world, full of charm.
